Solution for the sanitation, conservation and cleaning of the procedural water lines of medical units.
Application of Bilpron at least once to twice a week in the Weekend-System II or ALPRO–BCS as well as other autarkic medical water supply systems removes effectively organic and inorganic residues in procedural water lines (including the instrument tubes and the tumbler filler).
The contact time for the disinfection solution ready for use should be at least 12 hours (overnight) in the procedural water lines, it can also be used as long term disinfection (holidays) up to 3 months.
Active ingredient basis
Propylene glycol, PHB-esters, biguanides and complexing agents in an aqueous solution.
Spectrum of activity:
Test criteria: with soiling, room temperature
- bactericidal (EN 13623, test organisms: Klebsiella pneumoniae, Psudomonas aeruginosa) in 2 hours
- conservation (EuAB 5.1.3, test organisms: Burkholderia cepacia, Enterococcus faecium, Legionella pneumophila, Pseudomonas aeruginosa) for 28 days
